About Speakout B.C.

Speakout B.C. is designed to allow the average person to take part in an open forum about topics that affect or take place in the Province of British Colombia. We do not accept messages in our forums that have deal with National or International issues, we have a site coming to deal with those topics. Our format not only allows you to voice your opinion about any of the subjects or issues in the spotlight, but also allows the ability of other visitors to respond to your comments.

Newspapers are great for letters to the editor but rebuttals take time, and due to space limitations not all letters are printed. Radio talk shows also let you voice your opinion on topics that are on their scheduled timelines but not all callers can be heard due to time restrictions. Our hope is that in some cases this open type of forum may help resolve problems within our society or at least make our elected officials aware of how the public feels about making changes.

We respect your privacy and have a strict policy in that any information provided by anyone joining any forum will not be given out to any source or be used in any marketing campaign. You will never receive any e-mail from us other than confirmation of your joining or resending of your sign in password information or direct contact to us initiated by you. Our only request is that when posting messages to our forums you refrain from any racist, defamatory or slanderous comments, threats or hate statements. We do reserve the right to not only delete offensive messages but also to prevent access to repeat offenders to our forums via i.p. block.
